ABSTRACT
 Objective: 
 To determine the frequency of pain in teeth with irreversible pulpitis after single visit root canal treatment using intra-canal cryotherapy.
 Study design: Quasi experimental
 Place and duration study: Department Operative Dentistry, Armed forces institute Dentistry Rawalpindi from 1st June 2017 to 31st December 2017.
 Material Methods: Total 140 patients 20 65 years were equally divided into two groups Group A which Cryotherapy was used B control group. After anesthetizing tooth & application Rubber Dam, Root preparation done Protaper next series copious irrigation 5.25% sodium hypochlorite 17% EDTA solution. In group final Normal saline at a temperature 2.5°C. group, performed normal room temperature. Obturation cold lateral condensation permanent restoration composite. Patients contacted by telephone 24 Hours asked whether they experienced any pain.
 Results: Mean age 39.26+12.61 years. There 82 (58.6) male 58 (41.4) female patients. Comparison cryotherapy controls terms post-operative pain. 80% has no while 61.4% free.
